Somatic (=relating to the body) means that in addition to cognitive dialogue, we have the option to incorporate body-centered practices and techniques. This is particularly useful when you feel like you have come to the "end of your rope" with your words, feel "fuzzy", or unfocused.
It promotes choice, awareness, and a sense of agency.
It is your chance to participate actively in the sanctification process, to apply learning and knowledge to your unique life challenges.
What does my coach bring to the table?
She helps you think through your motivation, or detect obstacles (aka blind spots) that stand in the way of reaching a goal.
She elicit solutions and strategies from you. The process is non-directive; She does does NOT offer solutions, or tells you what to do.
Above all she creates a safe place for you to explore, play, have fun, and talk things through out loud without judgement.
She acts as a witness, helps clarify goals and next steps, guides the discovery process.
She is skilled in listening, asking insightful questions that evoke new awareness, and somatic techniques to let this be a whole person experience (body, mind, and soul)
She encourages you and helps you to apply information, and what you know to be right to your unique situation.
